Starting at the Shell Cove Jetty, this easy 3 km out-and-back walk takes you along the Waterfront Promenade. Enjoy the coastal views with your dog by your side, as you make your way past Kids Beach, a great spot for families to pause and enjoy the sandy shore. The paved path is pram and wheelchair friendly, with accessible facilities and rest benches along the route.
As you continue, you'll encounter an intriguing Art Display on Seafaring Way, adding a creative touch to your stroll. The trail ends at Breakwater Point, where you can soak in the ocean vistas before turning around. Green Sea Turtles, a vulnerable species in NSW, are known to visit Shell Cove Harbour. This is the turnaround point. From here, retrace your steps along the same path back to the start, completing the walk in about 35 minutes. It's an easy outing for a regular walker, with no real hills to tackle.
